UPDATE – FTB Launcher now has 0.5 available; this patch is unnecessary. Now to work on 0.6 ;).
I hate waiting, don’t you? It appears there has been an unforeseen delay on FTB’s end (please don’t bother them about it… I’ve already submitted a query as to what is going on; I haven’t gotten an answer back yet but multiple people bugging them has to be bad enough… they don’t need multiple people from the same server).
So, I give you.. an update archive (here – My DropBox). And here’s some directions (well… after the break). Please give me about 30 minutes to an hour to get the server moved over.
EDIT – The railroad is non-functional at the moment; we’re working on it (it’ll prob be a bit). In the meantime, if you would like to mine along the track as well as pretty it up, please feel free. We only ask that if you break any track you replace it. If you plan on settling somewhere and it appear the track isn’t run in that direction yet, please keep in mind we may be extending the line but we will work with you to either go around or route through your area so it looks nice. That said, feel free to build next to/over/under the track… even make a station around the area you want!
- Extract the archive (Frog04to05.zip) to a folder somewhere that you will remember. If you want, copy the two folders now (on windows, select both then right-click and select “Copy”… on Mac, well, you guys are smarter than me on this… I haven’t voluntarily used one in 9 years now).
- Go to the folder where FTB installs the mod packs; if you’re not sure open the FTB Launcher, the select the “Options” tab (it will tell you the directory where all your FTB stuff is downloaded…). Once there, go into the folder named “FrogTEK”, then “minecraft”.
- Copy over the two folders from step one into the minecraft folder, and select to overwrite all (it should be about 113 files, altogether).
- Reach around your back, and pat it. You’re done. Congratulations, you can just fire up the pack from the FTB Launcher as usual (decline to update unless the version is 0.5… it will say the current version next to the mod pack name in the list to the left… check out the picture ).
